Bliss is a fairly straight forward to template to set up for your Joomla site. These articles will help you achieve some Joomla bliss in no time at all. The first thing you will need to do is to decide how you want to use the Bliss template. It comes in both Joomla 1.0 and Joomla 1.5 template packages as well as Joomla 1.0 and Joomla 1.5 quick start packages. The suckerfish menu is an easily created drop down menu. Bliss is set up with some funky jquery effects to make the menu shimmer and slide to show the drop down menu.

The main scrolling banner in the demo version of the Bliss template is our module called Slideshow v2.0. It allows you to fade up to ten images int he background while a potentially unlimited amount your content items scroll on a floating layer above them. This module is timed to allow for the content items to scroll at the same time as the background image fades, so you essentially have a no fuss front page slideshow.

Its really very easy to use and works flawlessly on your blog - so we have included a new minimal template designed for Bliss. Its has a very minimal and clean feel to it, with some of the floral elements that you can see here on the Bliss demo site.

You have probably already noticed the date styling on the left side of the content titles. We think they look pretty awesome and really add weight to the blog effect. In Joomla 1.0 you need to use the Cal Date mambot but in Joomla 1.5 we have taken advantage of the override feature and the date effect is built in to the template itself - an the only thing you need to do is add a few lines of text to the Joomla language file or use the one that we provide in the download area.
